Drive the expansion of cash management relationships within a territory/financial center by connecting corporate/commercial customers to financial solutions and services.  Contribute to the Bank's deposit growth and goals.  Actively source and develop new client relationships through business development efforts. Deepen existing client relationships by sourcing opportunities to align bank products and services to meet the clients' changing financial priorities.  Prepare and present proposed cash management products and services.

GENERAL DUTIES

  • Drive the expansion of corporate/commercial relationships by promoting Bank products and services that will improve our customers' financial wellbeing. 
    • Create a business development plan to meet goals for deposit and relationship sales and growth. 
    • Implement sales strategies to identify, cultivate, and expand both new business and existing key customer relationships through focused sales activities within an assigned customer base. 
    • Utilize referral networks and activities, community involvement, outbound calls, and collaborative calling efforts with bank team partners.
    • Facilitate regular meetings with Relationship Managers to identify opportunities. 
    • Facilitate regular communication (correspondence, meetings, and materials) to educate bank personnel on cash management products and services and thereby influence referral generation.
  • Partner with Commercial Bankers when opening new business accounts.  Uncover unmet cash management needs.  Engage the customer's interest in cash management solutions by appropriately matching their needs to cash management products and services that will positively impact their financial situation.
    • Assist with online banking accounts and Remote Image Deposit and Positive Pay. 
  • Manage multiple responsibilities within an extensive portfolio, prioritizing and delegating tasks to achieve results.
    • Passionately contribute to a customer-focused environment, consistently surpassing customer expectations. Commit to delivering customer experiences that improve the clients' financial lives with each customer interaction.
    • Provide a thorough, timely, and accurate response to the customer's inquiries, needs, or concerns. 
    • Provide a complete range of customer services, including accurately opening and servicing accounts.
    • Independently provide a speedy resolution to customer issues, or escalate as needed.  Follow-up to ensure, not only resolution, but also customer satisfaction.
  • Actively participate in weekly staff meetings and strategic planning in support of branch sales and service goals.
  • Review sales performance against plan and implement improvement strategies. 
    • Prepare reports for management.
  • Responsible for maintaining security and compliance controls to protect against fraudulent activity and unnecessary risk and ensure customer confidentiality. 
    • Continually assess the degree of risk, demonstrate sound judgement, decision-making, and discretion in order to reduce uncertainty, manage risk, and improve deposit/loan quality.
    • Safeguard all branch and customer assets and transactions by ensuring that operations are conducted in secure manners that protect the privacy and integrity and meet compliance.
    • Commit to a code of ethics.  Follow all policies and procedures relative to compliance laws and regulations and best practice recommendations.
  • Commit to continued learning.  Participate in ongoing professional / educational development opportunities in order to stay current on bank products, initiatives, and trends.
  • Works well with all members of the team.
  • Must have a valid drivers license, clean MVR and ability to travel.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3-5 years' Cash Management Sales/Treasury Services experience
  • Computer proficiency
  • Experience in financial services and prior knowledge of financial services industry, products, and solutions
    Working knowledge of commercial banking products.
  • Excellent business development and client relationship skills.  Strong knowledge of various phases of sales management, including planning, goal setting, project/time management and selling techniques.
  • A drive for results.  Demonstrated sales results where goals were met or exceeded routinely.
    Ability to make personal connections and engage customers
  • Excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally in a collaborative environment with a diverse group of internal and external contacts.  Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments concurrently; proven ability to operate successfully in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to comprehend and adhere to all Federal and State banking regulations including compliance with the bank's Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering (BSA/AML) program.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
